Maison Ombre

The original farmhouse was kept as it was. Beside it, a new wing of rough limestone and deep loggias holds the living rooms, set back from the sun behind a row of plane trees.

Thick walls, small openings to the south and wide ones to the north keep the house cool without air conditioning through July and August.
